Western Digital Corporation is a computer data storage company and one of the largest computer hard disk drive manufacturers in the world.
Western Digital was witnessing a rapid shift of revenues from physical- to digital channels. At the time, they were running disjointed marketing and e-commerce sites, and it took consumers up to 16 clicks to make a purchase. Understandably, e-commerce conversion rates were very low.
I led the re-design of WDC.com. Me and my team created a seamless marketing and e-commerce experience created around users’ interests. We launched 18 new international sites with translated messaging for regional audiences live on AEM, Salesforce, and Marketo.
As a result of the re-design, E-commerce conversion increased by 4x, with a revenue increase of 22%.
In 2017, we received two “Silver Davey Awards” for “Best Homepage” and “Best User Experience”.
